Seeed PAR Sensor
Description
The industrial-grade PAR sensor monitors the PAR in environments with natural light sources across a radiation range from 400 to 700 nm and provides important parameters for researchers and farmers. When there's light in, the sensor generates a voltage signal directly proportional to the PAR under the light source. You can obtain the measurement value in a unit of μmol/m2•s. The instrument supports the MODBUS-RTU RS485 protocol, you also can directly connect this PAR sensor with RS485 data loggers or digital voltmeters to create monitoring systems that meet your own demand.
This PAR sensor is robust with an IP66 enclosure and is able to withstand a wide range of temperatures from -30°C to 75°C, unlocking applications in harsh outdoor environments to support photosynthesis, solar, and ecological research, as well as the sensing in smart agriculture, greenhouse farming, tourism, meteorology, etc.
